This event is FREE for active RecPhilly members! Non-members are welcome to attend by donation, with 25% of all donations going directly to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Educator's Oasis
Educator’s Oasis is a transformative and rejuvenating experience for educators. It provides a safe and supportive day retreat focusing on their well-being and professional growth. This extraordinary event began as a community service project for my 300-hour yoga teacher training. "Educators Oasis," a sanctuary where teachers, childcare workers, and education professionals can find solace, support, and a sense of community. We will offer diverse workshops and activities catering to educators' physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Workshops will include sound healing, yoga, all-natural body scrub making, afrobeat dance, reiki and affirmations, arts and crafts, and journaling. This event is a way to express gratitude and appreciation for educators' invaluable contribution to society by organizing ceremonies, awards, or gestures of recognition throughout the event. I created Educator's Oasis to ensure that educators have access to valuable resources, such as educational materials, counseling services, and information on work-life balance, to help them navigate the challenges of their profession. Educators will leave this retreat feeling connected, supported, and appreciated.
