What’s Not Included

  • International and domestic flights are not included. Guests are responsible for booking their own airfare to and from Ghana.

  • Participants are responsible for obtaining any required travel visas and ensuring their passports are valid prior to arrival.

  • A Yellow Fever vaccination is required to enter Ghana. Other recommended vaccines and health precautions will be shared upon registration. Please consult your healthcare provider or a travel clinic well in advance.

  • Travel insurance is not included and is strongly recommended to protect against unexpected changes, delays, or emergencies.

  • Any activities outside the scheduled retreat itinerary, including personal excursions or additional experiences, are not included. Food and drinks purchased at local restaurants are also not included.

  • Gratuities for service providers and personal purchases such as souvenirs are not included.

    No prior yoga or meditation experience is required. All practices are accessible, optional, and trauma-informed.

  • Yes. This retreat is facilitated with deep care, cultural sensitivity, and trauma-informed practices. While ancestral and historical sites may evoke strong emotions, all experiences are gently guided, with ample space for rest, reflection, and integration. Participation in all activities is always by choice.

  • Yes. Ghana is widely regarded as one of the safest and most welcoming countries in Africa. The retreat includes private transportation, trusted local guides, and vetted accommodations to ensure safety, comfort, and ease throughout the experience.

  • Single and double occupancy options are available. Single occupancy offers a private room, while double occupancy includes shared accommodations. Both options provide comfort, privacy, and relaxation.

  • This retreat is intentionally kept intimate to ensure personalized attention, safety, and meaningful connection within the group. There will be a max of six attendees.

  • Feeling emotional is a natural part of healing. Support is available through grounding practices, rest, optional sharing, and compassionate facilitation. You are always encouraged to take space and care for yourself in whatever way feels most supportive.
